increase public awareness and to support local beach communities, WIMARCS
provides local community presentations to make the public more aware of the
plight and importance of sea turtles as well instructions on properly
responding to an adult or hatchling sighting.
The key to protection and conservation is to increase knowledge.
These presentations are designed to give basic turtle activity, nest, and
hatchling information to the layman. |
