WIMARCS will conduct business with the highest ethical standards and will operate solely for the benefit of the public. The research and conservation that WIMARCS supports will serve to foster a mutually beneficial relationship between marine animal and the public. Any dealings with non-ethical associates, members, and organizations shall be strictly prohibited. As a public 501(c)(3) corporation, no substantial part of WIMARCS activities will be “the carrying on of propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, and the corporation/organization will not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distribution of statements) any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office”.
